Notes: Lucky' previous owner states she is house trained and gets along with children, but is nervous around other animals (She did live with another dog though, as well as a cat).
Lucky walks calmly on the leash and was shy but friendly during the assessment - low body and tail, but trying to stay close. She was tense during handling, but had soft body language. She was distracted and focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag interaction. She was a bit difficult to push out of the food bowl, but had soft body language. She showed minimal interest in toys and took the rawhide away, but had soft body language. Lucky was cautious when approaching the helper dog, but showed no aggression.

This dog is located at the Brooklyn Animal Care&Control (2336 Linden Blvd Brooklyn 11208). For more information on a particular dog, email adoption @ nycacc.org (remove the spaces) but ONLY email if you are serious about adopting, and ONLY if you are able to GO TO the shelter in-person. Contact the NYC ACC at (212) 788-4000 for further automated instructions. Also, have the ID# listed at the top of this post handy when inquiring!! This dog is in danger of being on the euthanasia list and could be scheduled to be killed at any time!
