Notes: Caramel's previous owner states she is house trained, has lived with two adults and gets along well with children other dogs and strangers.
Caramel pulls on the leash and was shy but friendly during the assessment - low body and tail, but trying to stay close. She was tense during handling, with fearful body language and she had a low body position during the tag test, but followed the assessor at the end of the leash. She did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl. Caramel showed minimal interest in toys and rawhides and was relaxed when approaching the helper dog, but was not playful.

From The ACC site: To help ensure successful adoptions, please fill out a pre-adoption application (http://www.nycacc.org/pdfs/adoptions/AdoptionApplication.pdf) and bring it with you when you come into the Care Center to adopt a pet.
