NOTE: Sasha is extremely thin at time of assessment and due to the behavior displayed during the food and dog to dog items, she would be best suited to an experienced adopter. Sasha pulls on the leash and was excited but very interested in interacting with handler during assessment - jumped up, licked hands and face. She was excited during some of the handling items, but had soft body language. She engages in play, loose body, wags tail, mouth is open. She was stiff and cannot be pushed out of the food bowl, but did not growl, snap or bite. She showed minimal interest in toys and put her body between the assessor and rawhide, showing no growling or stiffness. Sasha rushed in confidently towards the helper dog, body is tense, ears erect, high tail wag.

This dog is located at the Brooklyn Animal Care&Control (2336 Linden Blvd Brooklyn 11208). For more information on a particular dog, email adoption @ nycacc.org (remove the spaces) but ONLY email if you are serious about adopting, and ONLY if you are able to GO TO the shelter in-person. This dog is in danger of being on the euthanasia list and could be scheduled to be killed at any time!
