Dusty pulls on the leash and was sociable toward the handler during the assessment - soft body. He was relaxed during handling and engages in play, loose body, wags tail, mouth is open. He did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl. Dusty showed minimal interest in toys and rawhides and rushed in during the dog-dog test, but showed no aggression.

I am a male bl brindle and white pit bull mix. The shelter thinks I am about 1 YEAR 1 MONTH old.
I came in the shelter as a SEIZED on 07/24/2014 from NY 11213, owner surrender reason stated was OWN ARREST.
This dog is located at the Brooklyn Animal Care&Control (2336 Linden Blvd Brooklyn 11208). For more information on a particular dog, email adoption @ nycacc.org (remove the spaces) but ONLY email if you are serious about adopting, and ONLY if you are able to GO TO the shelter in-person. Please do not email for status updates... the only thing you will accomplish is spamming their in boxes and causing REAL adopter emails to go un-noticed. Contact the NYC ACC at (212) 788-4000 for further automated instructions. Also, have the ID# listed at the top of this post handy when inquiring!! This dog is in danger of being on the euthanasia list and could be scheduled to be killed at any time!
