Gorgeous stunning bluenose pittie Blue-abandoned 2 yr old in Brooklyn, New York
Behavioral evaluation:
Blue was sociable towards the handler but was often more interested in his surroundings during his assessment. He allowed the assessor to conduct all of the handling items, while remaining soft bodied. Blue was excitable but playful during the tag interaction, and was a bit difficult to push out of the food bowl during the food test, but his body was soft. He was easy to handle when chewing on the toy items, and was not interested in the rawhide item. When playing off leash with other dogs, Blue had stiff body language with a high tail when greeting dogs through the gate, and when off leash he didn't appear to be interested in interacting with other dogs. When placing Blue back in his kennel, he became tense and lunged at another dog in their kennel.

*Due to an incident at ACC, the dept of health has placed an adoption hold on Blue. He still needs a home and will need an adopter/foster quickly once his hold is released, which should be on or around 3/8.
