A volunteer writes: What a pleasant dog ... What a wonderful experience ... Truly, if I was looking to adopt a dog today, without a doubt this doggie would be my number one choice. From the very moment I took Max from his kennel he was willing to be my partner on our walk and so very attentive to me as his walker. Max is such a good looking animal in perfect shape from the tip of his nose to the last hair on his tail, a dog you'd really be proud of having by your side. On our walk Max didn't pull once and never showed an ounce of negativity on our travels together. He really seemed to know just where to do his business and was a total delight to be with. With his broad expressions of recognition and his willingness to be the doggie and I his walker, no time could be better. When Max and I completed our walk, I took him to our dog run, to let him stretch his legs and see if he would like to play for a bit. And play we did, me getting the ball and tossing it across our run, while Max leaped into action chasing it down with gusto and enthusiasm for our game. He brought it back faithfully with every toss and pretty much dropped at my feet, letting me know, "Surely, it's time to do it all over again! So toss it man, toss it!" Max knows "Sit" and "Stay" on command and was willing and wanting to share in loving caresses and scratches all over his broad stout body. Max seems to get along with all of the other animals we came across on our walk, making him a prime candidate for adoption of any sort. Surely, Max is going to be one grand addition to someone life complete. So ... Please make the decision to come in to our Brooklyn Care Center today and meet Max, hands down it's going to be the best of best decisions of your life. Max is waiting to meet you and yours today.
*According to his surrender notes, Max is playful with other dogs, but may chase cats so he may do best in a home without cats. He is friendly with children according to his previous family*
