Darwin is a 1 year old dog with wounds on his face. His face is swollen and appears to have lacerations around his face, as well. His wounds are healing nicely and the swelling continues to go down. He is a sweet fellow that loves to show off his affection! He is excitable and enjoys receiving lots of attention! He is such a nice boy! Please let us know if you can show him some love!

For more information on a particular dog, email adoption @ nycacc.org (remove the spaces) but ONLY email if you are serious about adopting, and ONLY if you are able to GO TO the shelter in-person. Please do not email for status updates... the only thing you will accomplish is spamming their in boxes and causing REAL adopter emails to go un-noticed. This dog is in danger of being on the euthanasia list and could be scheduled to be killed at any time! From The ACC site: To help ensure successful adoptions, please fill out a pre-adoption application (http://www.nycacc.org/pdfs/adoptions/AdoptionApplication.pdf) and bring it with you when you come into the Care Center to adopt a pet. If you are coming from outside of the immediately area, it is strongly suggest that you first complete an application and email it to adoption @ nycacc.org -This will allow ACC to answer any questions and resolve any potential obstacles before you make the trip.
