Sweet gentle amstaff pup Gesture in danger@Brooklyn kill shelter in Brooklyn, New York
A staff member writes: Gesture may take a day or two to warm up to people, but there's not a person she's gotten to know that doesn't adore her! This pretty blue girl has the widest smile you'll ever see and a personality to match. She lights up any room she walks into, and this big sweetheart would be a huge addition to any family that would have her. Bringing this sweet girl into your home is the kindest gesture you can make!
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Gesture came into the shelter as a stray, so her past behaviors in a home are unknown. Upon intake it was reported Gesture was nervous and tense she allowed all handling. During her eval Gesture came into the assessment room friendly and loose she was social towards the assessor. She allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Gesture was relaxed during the tag interaction, and during the resource portion of the assessment. Gesture was easy to handle when engaged with the item. Gesture appears to be sociable, and did not display any behavior concerns, so the department feels she can be suitable for an "Average" adopter.

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 06/04/2016 from NY 11221, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.
