$1600 room for rent in Williamsburg Brooklyn in Brooklyn, New York
Im seeking a male or female roommate for the newly available bedroom in my two-bedroom apartment in Williamsburg. The start-date is flexible, but Id like to have someone by February 22 or sometime the last week of February. The sublet would be for the last week of February and all of March, with the possibility of continuing on a month-to-month basis. Here are the details:
APARTMENT:
- Located one block from the Bedford Ave. stop on the L train; five minutes to Union Square
- All the bars, clubs, restaurants, stores, coffee shops, etc. are a block away, but the apartments block is quiet
- Entire second floor, with a yoga studio on the first floor and one apartment upstairs occupied by a very quiet couple
- Newly renovated
- Hardwood floors
- Separate fully-stocked kitchen with marble countertops, lots of cabinets, and a dishwasher
- Heat in each room, and window-unit air conditioners in both bedrooms
- Shared bathroom
- Huge living room with exposed brick
- Bedrooms on opposite sides of the apartment
- Hi-speed wifi internet
- No smoking in the apartment, but I dont mind roommates who smoke
YOUR BEDROOM:
- Very spacious room
- Large walk-in closet (!) with hanging racks on two walls and high shelves
- Two windows
- Furnished with full-sized bed, leaving plenty of room for more furnishings
- Room would also include an adjacent nice-sized sunken alcove with four windows that would be yours to use as your own living room (in addition to the shared main living room)
ME:
- easy going professional male with a day job in law, leaving the apartment free from 8:30am to 7pm each day
- Neat, organized, quiet
- Usually go out weeknights or weekends, but occasionally have a few friends over
- Vegetarian, but dont mind non-vegetarians roommates
- Have one or two references I could contact
