Wonderful Handfed Young Green Quaker Parrot PLUS Tall Parrot Cage! in Brooklyn, New York

I have a handfed Quaker Parrot which I raised 2 years ago from a 3 week old chick. Her name is Sophie and she's a wonderful little bird who loves to be pet and scruffed behind the head. She has spent half of her life outside her cage and she loves to fly around the house and perch all over the place. She's a great pet and will make any family happy for decades to come!
That said, Sophie is very timid with strangers and it might take a little while for her to warm up to a new person. She also needs lots of time with people, she is used to spending lots of time with people and being fed fruits and veggies along with her seed mix. If she doesn't get enough attention or if she's just left alone in a cage for a long time, she can start to stress out. Quaker Parrots that are not shown affection and attention will stress out and may begin to pluck it's feathers and screech very loudly over and over again.
Sophie can come with her cage, it's approximately 5 feet high by 1 feet and a half wide and 1 feet and a half deep, this cage easily costs $300 in a pet store. It's made of a strong metal construction and will last many, many years. If you don't need the cage, we can make a deal just for Sophie.
