Stunningly beautiful long-haired calico Angie (3 years old) was living with her numerous adoptive siblings when Hurricane Sandy struck and left her Far Rockaway owner with an uninhabitable, partially flooded home. She and her siblings stayed in the cold, dark damp house for two weeks while their overwhelmed owner organised their safe delivery to Hope Vet. She came to us absolutely petrified, and made herself as flat as a pancake! but with the dedicated work of volunteers, she has really come out of her shell and loves to sit next to you and be stroked. She can be chatty when she feels secure and we long for her to feel that with her new loving family. There's a photo of Angie next to the word 'sweet' in the cat dictionary! She loves other cats and will need to go to a home with her adoptive sister Amy they are very bonded. Please give this patient girl a chance.
