This Winnebago is 100% electrically autonomous. Twin roof-mounted solar panels (250W) feed the 220A/hr Lifeline batteries (Installed in 2012). Onboard generator / shore power charge batteries via Intelipower 3-stage charger/converter. Xantrex XM1000 inverter (hard wired) can provide 1000 Watts A/C to select outlets.
The solar panels and on-board batteries will supply and continuously recharge. A battery monitoring system will alert you to remaining battery power, so that you know when its time to take it easy. Used sparingly, the onboard electrical system has been designed to power the coach indefinitely.
